House league hockey is an important program offered by the Huskies.   While it requires less commitment of time than travel hockey for the participants, it is an important feeder system for our travel program and most importantly, it provides an opportunity for players to play a competitive brand of hockey if they are not willing or able to play at a travel hockey level. House players participate in an evaluation process overseen by our hockey directors and players are distributed to teams to ensure a balance of skill.

While House League hockey is not considered as competitive as travel hockey, the Huskies recognize that it is no less important to continue the development of its players at all levels of play.   It is our commitment to provide appropriate practice time and quality instruction throughout the season including mandatory Power Skate and Goalie Clinic sessions that are INCLUDED in your fees.   The Huskies adhere to their philosophy of "Balanced Ice Time - B.I.T." which promotes reasonable ice time for all players-in-good-standing except in the final five minutes of close games.     

2007-2008 fees INCLUDE all practice ice, league game ice, power skates, goalie clinics, coaches, referees and home & away jerseys and socks.  They also include 2 tickets to the Club Dinner Dance and Power Play Raffle Tickets that is one of our fundraising programs that help you offset your fees.  At the discretion of team coaches and parents, House league players can also participate in non-league tournaments throughout the season that are geared to the House League level of play.  Please note that these tournaments and related travel costs are additional and will be handled by each individual team.

2007-2008 Fees

The Huskies reserve the right to make any changes in published teams based on quantity and quality of participating players.  The Huskies operates as a club deriving its funds from its participants.  The fees are based upon a budgeted estimate of teams.  Therefore, the club reserves the right to adjust fees to comply with budgetary requirements.
