Awards Program
We understand that hockey can be financially straining on families. To help those in need, the Huskies created an Award Program that families can apply for on an annual basis. This award will go towards a fee reduction for the recipient(s). The Huskies donated $5,000 in January 2023, to start the program. The club will host several events each year, of which all proceeds will go towards the award fund.
How to Apply
To apply for the Huskies Award program, please submit a request using the form below to the Huskies by September 15, 2024. A member of the Huskies board will then contact you to discuss in more detail why you are in need of financial assistance. You may be asked to provide financial records. After all applications are submitted, the Board of Directors will review each case individually and award partial or full financial aid. Families will be notified by October 10, 2024. The aid awarded will be deducted from future monthly payments. All recipients of the Award Program will remain anonymous unless they have requested otherwise.
